FAQ

Business telephone cabling questions

Do not see your question? Call (954) 474-2204.

Do VoIP phones need special cabling?

VoIP phones connect over your data network, so they use the same Ethernet cabling as computers. Quality, properly terminated runs help keep calls clear.

Can one cable serve both a phone and a computer?

Many VoIP phones include a second port that passes the network connection through to a computer. We can plan drops either way based on your phones and how many devices each desk needs.
